Nabe respectfully acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we live, exhibit and create art. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, as well as to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the wider Melbourne community and beyond. Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded. We acknowledge the important role that art has played on these lands for thousands of years and feel privileged to work alongside artists continuing the creative practice of the oldest surviving culture in the world.
